MSN - obsulute?

Mention the acronymn ‘MSN’ (Internet Slang), and to some, it will ring some bells. To some, the popular ‘Winows Live Messenger’ by Microsoft comes to mind.
It seems that the internet slang ‘MSN’, which is used to describe Windows Live accounts, has already become almost obsulute, ever since the technology-giant Microsoft changed the brand of online services from ‘MSN’ to the name of ‘Windows Live’ for most of their services, including Hotmail.
Apparently, the Microsoft Network, or MSN for short, is now only a network targeted at the Home and Family user. However, recently, Microsoft has stated that the ‘Windows Live’ branding is not to cause confusion, but to recreate and redesign the network and the network will soon be relaunched.
Last but not least, I would like to end this off with a joke, targeted at the “MSN” internet slang. Personally, I find it funny, but many people, even online, are used to asking people “What’s your MSN?” kind of questions, when they actually mean “What’s your Windows Live ID?” or something.
So here’s my joke: when someone asks you “What’s your MSN?” or a question of similiar nature, reply with: “My Mother’s Secret Name is…”
