Windows Vista not the End-of-the-line

Recently, it’s been comfirmed by Microsoft themselves that Windows Vista might not be the End-of-the-line. Also, Vista will be last of its kind.
With that, it means that there will be no more Windows operating systems that will be running on the Windows NT/2000 interface anymore in the future, because the implementation of new features in the old interface will be more difficult for Microsoft.
Also, a new major operating system is scheduled to be released about 2-3 years from now. It will be codenamed “Blackcomb”.
So, should you purchase Windows Vista? For people who’re working, I’d say; move to Linux or wait for Blackcomb. For Gamers, I’d suggest; use XP and Vista together. Well, for Home users, I’d say; Yes, make the switch to Vista. It’s definitely worth it.
So am I upgrading to Windows Vista? I’m definitely a gamer so Hell YES!!! But I’d still need Windows XP to play my old games. I’m not making the change yet, but I’m definitely upgrading. DirectX for the Win!!
