Recently, there was much of a hype surrounding a new version of the iPod. In other words, Apple will be ushering in the new generation of iPods, dubbed the iPod Touch, soon on September 30th 2007. You can take a look at the iPod Touch here.
Apparently, it seems that the iPod touch is like an iPhone ripped of all the phone functions. It looks exactly like the iPhone and like the iPhone, it comes with MacOSX installed. The iPod Touch is confirmed to have WiFi capabilities and you can use Safari, YouTube and make purchases from the iTunes Store.
On the pricing part, $299 buys you an 8GB sytem and $399 will buy you a bigger and better 16 GB model, complete with most of the fanciful functions introduced in the iPhone which was mentioned above. The two versions are expected to be similiar but comes in different storage sizes.
So far, the iPod Touch looks neat, and as a piece gadgetry, it’s as cool as the iPhone. It’s thin, and it plays Videos, and I’m kind of excited about it. Aren’t we all? You might want to give a comment on what you think about the next-generation iPod Touch.
