Prankster edits Singaporean Wikipedia articles

It’s pretty funny. I just read this on a fellow Singaporean’s blog. He was poking around Wikipedia, and according to him, he found that IP address 203.116.59.28 is “placing all sorts of lies in Wikipedia”. In actual fact, this guy was editing Singaporean articles, and in place of the original text, is some insulting text.
In the Lee Kuan Yew article, he wrote:
He is very old.
In the Lee Hsien Loong article, he wrote and replace an image:
Notice how he bears the appearance of a horse with his long facial features, giving one the unpleasant feeling of being in a zoo
(Also changed Lee Hsien Loong picture into a horse)
In the Singapore Dollar article, he wrote:
You mean you do not like Sing dollar?
In the Li Hongyi article, he wrote this:
Li is also found to be suffering from cerebral palsy, lunacy and syphilis.
Li is known to be suffering from dyslexia.
He is also:
interested in Odex
likes changing Baby-G into Baby-G Spot
quite a fan of Honour and Passion
thinks Liang Po Po is a horror film
prefers calling Bollywood ‘Boobywood’
believes that Mortal Kombat’s Jarek is a 3SG in the RSAF
These days, where most of the criminals play Saint’s Row and operate on the internet, it isn’t really uncommon to spot people adding chunks of nonsense in Wikipedia after removing the original text.
Anyway, I think it’s really stupid of this guy to edit those pages. Just a few clicks from the administrators, and all the changes would be undone, and he would be banned and probably reported to the authorities. Don’t you think he’s just plain stupid?
Just like how many netizens would recommend, everytime you need information for research, never ever trust just one source, such as Wikipedia. Remember, there are still other sources, such as the online versions of Encarta or Britannica.
Anyway, if you think what this guy did by editing Singapore-related articles is stupid, then repost this story on your blog, and defame him. Once again, his IP address is 203.116.59.28. Please do not use this story to send a chain mail to other people, thanks. Also, give your comments on this article if you find it interesting.
