Just got Halo 2 and BioShock!

Recently, I’ve just got myself a copy of Halo 2 for Windows Vista and BioShock, and I’m kind of busy playing Halo 2 on LIVE, an online multiplayer service offered by Microsoft. You can for yourself see a screenshot of a Halo 2 multiplayer game running on LIVE above (click to enlarge).
Actually, it’s already been a while since I’ve got Halo 2 for Windows Vista, but I’ve just been busy these few days playing BioShock and Halo 2 on LIVE, as I have said above, so I didn’t have time to make a post on this. Anyway, I think that Halo 2’s storyline and cinematic effects are impressive, but as you know it, the graphics are pretty outdated considering it is a PC port of an Xbox game.
Halo 3 has just been released for the Xbox 360, further hampering the sales of Halo 2 for Windows Vista. I have yet to finish the Halo 2 campaign, so it will be a while before I will decide to get my hands on a copy of Halo 3, which looks rather impressive.
Personally, i think Halo 2 for Windows Vista feels more like an Xbox 360 title, than a PC port of an Xbox game. It features 3 exclusive maps for Windows Vista, and upgraded grpahics and textures. Although it’s not much considering it’s a PC release, think about how Halo 3 will impress us when it comes out for Windows Vista.
Besides Halo 2, I’ve also got BioShock, which makes Halo 2 for Windows Vista look like a Nintendo Wii title, considering how impressive it’s graphics are. It uses DirectX 10 textures too! Plus, the game’s wonderful storyline just draws you into the whole action. BioShock also gives the player freedom to explore the world of Rapture.
What’s bad about BioShock is that it hasn’t got multiplayer - rather pitiful considering it’s an AAA first person shooter. Other than that, BioShock is impressive in almost evey area of the game; storyline, music, etc. Nothing else makes it worse than Halo 3, in my opinion.
Well, guys, enjoy yourself this coming October! There will be lots of electronic games coming our way, at full speed! Crysis, Gears of War for Windows, Need for Speed ProStreet - you can list them all! By the way, if you haven’t got yourself a copy of BioShock, you really should!
