Forza 3 details leaked

FORZA 3 LEAKED

Through a research firm called Intellisponse, and their site’s back end, a heap of details of Forza 3 have been found and plastered all over the internet. It outlines potential pricing “scenarios”, a full specification of the game itself, plans for downloadable content and details of a potential collector’s edition.

While this might be a rumour, the overview of the game says that it will include over 100 tracks and 400 cars, as well as new race modes. It will also be sold as a two-disc set. Eight “scenarios” for pricing were listed on the site, four for the US and four for the UK. You can find images of all the information here.

Call of Duty 5: World at War

CALL OF DUTY 5 V COD5

As many of you know, the Call of Duty franchise is known for its World War II first-person shooter video games. However in 2007, Call of Duty 4 was released with a modern warfare setting. The next title in the series, Call of Duty 5: World at War, would undoubtably be going back to the World War II setting it is known for.

Noah Heller, the senior producer for Call of Duty 5, has stated that the title will define the World War II first-person shooter (WWII FPS) genre. Heller spoke to MCV and told them, “Modern Warfare opened the door to so many people new to Call of Duty. The game built great fertile ground for us to start on and if we’re going to say: ‘Look it’s Christmas, here’s another Call of Duty as you loved it last year’, then we need to make sure the game is high quality or people won’t trust what Call of Duty is. This has to be the best shooter and has to redefine the World War II genre.”

Call of Duty 5: World at War is expected to arrive on shelves later this year. The multi-platform title will debut on the PlayStation 3, Nintendo Wii, Xbox 360 and the PC platforms. The sales of Call of Duty 4: Modern Warfare has also already crossed the ten million mark. A few days ago, the CEO of Activision had also indicated a possibility of a Call of Duty MMO (Massive Multiplayer Online) game.

Aw, I was hoping it would be a cool World War 3 theme or something.

Yes, a modern warfare theme would be good too, but it’s great hearing they’re intending for a more innovative World War 2 game.
