Resident Evil: Degeneration, also known as Biohazard: Degeneration in Japan, is a new CG (Computer Graphics) film based off the Resident Evil series of video games. It will be produced by both Sony and Capcom.
According to the trailer, the story will be set “7 years from Racoon City” (the events of Resident Evil 2). The trailer, as shown above, is short, but it clearly showed us how amazing the zombies and humans can look like.
The films “Resident Evil†and “Resident Evil 2: Apocalypse†have each grossed more than US$100 million at the Box Office internationally. “Resident Evil 3: Extinction†has been the biggest hit of the series in the U.S. to date, by grossing over US$48 million in just over three weeks, adding to the high performance and public support for this zombie-loving franchise. This new CG movie is expected to be a hit.
It not only features a brand-new storyline and characters, but also groundbreaking visuals. Of course, if you’ve played any of the Resident Evil series of games before, this CG film should be a must-watch. Watch out for Resident Evil: Degeneration!
The Characters of Grand Theft Auto IV

The news come fast and furious. IGN has just posted an article entitled “The Characters of Grand Theft Auto IV”. In the article, they’ve uncovered to us Grand Theft Auto fans and enthusiastic gamers (yeah, that’s how we roll!) some of the other characters in Grand Theft Auto IV besides Niko Bellic, the protagonist.
Of course, this isn’t any other Grand Theft Auto IV preview that you have seen. We rarely got to know about the characters of Grand Theft Auto IV. Only through screenshots and trailers, many Grand Theft Auto fans like me have speculated about character names. Some were correct, some were wrong. Some even thought Manny was Little Jacob.
Well, some thought Rockstar Games would even abandon their signature humor that was present in the Grand Theft Auto trilogy of games. Yes, Grand Theft Auto IV is now more serious in tone, but the character names sound as if they were from a joke book or a children’s fable book. Believe it or not, Manny and Brucie sounds like the title of a bedtime story.
Now, for the juice. The characters of Grand Theft Auto IV include, but are not limited to Vlad, Roman, Manny, Brucie and Elizabeta (in order of the pictures displayed above). Most of which, were seen in the three Grand Theft Auto IV trailers released. Vlad sounds like the bad guy. Manny and Brucie sounds like your good pals. Roman is, of course, your cousin.

Are You A Comedian, My Friend?

No I am not. Of course, some of you guys here can turn a short video clip of two gay men having intercourse, or a couple having sex on the beach, into a joke. No I can’t do those, but I sure can sprinkle some humor in my blog posts. Well, can you do that?
Well, I do believe every blogger can do the same thing too - adding a little humor here and there in your blog posts isn’t very hard, is it? Here, I discuss ways to add humor to your blog posts and writing - ways that aren’t too hard to master.
Well, for most of us, it will be quite difficult to create or make up our own jokes. Even if we succeed, our blog readers might not succesfully understand the joke. You might find your joke funny, but your readers might be misinterpreted by your jokes.
Of course, now and then, you could add some comic strips that can spice up your blog posts or even to prove a point. Also, using a funny picture that is relevant to the topic of the blog posts to break up the content in a long post can be useful. It is better to use images and humor to prove a point, because it usually takes longer for your reader to scan through images than to scan through text.
In place of images, you can also use other multimedia, such as YouTube videos or even a bunch of text. Even a funny quote by a famous person or a popular joke can be used to prove your point. However, please do refrain from using adult humor! You might not know if a 10 year old kid or a 60 year old man is reading your posts, would you?

These media, combined with humor, can help better convince your readers, because they’re funny and interesting. We’re all human, and after a hard day at work or school, we’d always like a little bit of humor to freshen us up, wouldn’t we?
At the end of the day, you will realize that it is easier to prove your point with humor and multimedia, rather than with plain text that tries to convince your readers but fails at times. I have learnt about this through the hard way, I guess you would not want. So, take my advice, add some humor to your blog posts or writing today!
Was my advice useful to you? Have I missed out on anything? Do you have any suggestions or feedback? What do you think of this article? Do you have anything to say about this article? Kindly give this post a comment!

Yes, Windows X, also known as LucIfiaR, has just released a new version of his popular Vista Transformation Pack, Vista Transformation Pack 8.0.1.
Vista Transformation Pack is a popular total conversion application for Windows XP which transforms it into a Windows Vista lookalike. This version of Vista Transformation Pack is mainly the same to previous ones except Aero Glass without WindowBlinds and WinFlip featured with overall improvements such as:
-Fixed crappy hotfix issue, no more workaround trick required to avoid that
-Ability to save transforming information for later uses and unattended transformation
-Ability to detect the targeted machine and give suggested setup configuration
-Some transformation procedures refinements you should look at like pre-configure on first run, removed obsolete dialogs and msn skin, etc.
-New 3rd-party apps and new version of existing apps
Of course, it’s free without paying few hundred dollars for some certain stuff you like in Vista. If you get an error on execution and using Intel graphics drivers, please try out the fixed driver, available for download here, to get Vista Transformation Pack runing fine.

Grand Theft Auto IV Trailer 3 released!

Finally, the whole hype about Grand Theft Auto IV is worth it. The third trailer, “Move up, ladies”, was released today. Despite having to wake up at 4 A.M. in the morning to watch it, it was worthwhile. Of course, it wowed me - the music, the guns, the drive-bys, the city, everything. It was amazing, breathtaking. Grand Theft Auto IV lives up to the Grand Theft Auto name, nevertheless.
This third trailer, compared to the first two, in my opinion, is the best Grand Theft Auto IV trailer ever made. It combines 2 minutes worth of in-game footage of cutscenes, drive-bys, dare-devil stunts, shooting scenes, explosions and in-game characters. The graphics are better than ever, and Grand Theft Auto’s signature adult humor is back.
Of course, bits and pieces of the new Euphoria physics engine used in Grand Theft Auto IV are apparent in the new trailer. The character models, the city’s level of detail, the voice acting and the sound modelling of the city are all improved and evident in this new trailer. This third trailer also shows us bits of the storyline, as well as the beginning cutscene of the game.
All these cool parts of the game are taken, stuck together, polished to Rockstar Games’ perfection and set to New York-style rap music, which makes up Grand Theft Auto IV’s third and last trailer, “Move up, ladies”. As seen, the Grand Theft Auto IV hype is back again - the Game of the Year 2008. Enjoy the Trailer!

5 New Grand Theft Auto IV screenshots released

Yes, they’re coming in, fast. Just today, one day before the third Grand Theft Auto IV trailer, 5 new screenshots of the game have surfaced from gaming sites, in addition to the 8 screenshots we posted yesterday. 3 of these screenshots were from IGN, while the rest were from Rockstar Games themselves.
These screenshots, contrary to the 8 screenshots posted yesterday, are new screenshots. While the 8 screenshots were taken around July, before the announcement of the delay, these 5 screenshots are truly newly-released. It clearly shows the improvement in the graphics, as well as the texture and modelling of the character’s faces. The face and hairstyle of Niko Bellic, the protagonist of Grand Theft Auto IV, now looks cleaner and neater.
Of course, as the release date of the Grand Theft Auto IV trailer 3 nears, we can start getting anxious. Just what will Rockstar Games reveal about the game this time round? Well, it seems that there is merely just one more day till the third trailer. Be sure to stay tuned tomorrow, when we finally post up the third trailer of Grand Theft Auto IV, “Move up, ladies”.

Those screenshots that you have just seen are screenshots that have been shown to us in magazine previews before, but it’s been only yesterday that Rockstar Games have finally released these Grand Theft Auto IV screenshots digitally. The screenshots, like any other Grand Theft Auto IV screenshot, really shows off the capability of the RAGE engine.
The first shot shows how amazing a car explosion can be, while the second shot truly shows the ambience and atmosphere of Liberty City at night. The third shot shows off the Liberty City skyline, as well as a beautifully-rendered park. The forth to eighth shot, however, shows off the game’s protagonist, Niko Bellic.
It seems that from the screenshots, Niko can take cover from bullets behind cars, as well as clinging on to moving vehicles. Also, it shows off how realistic the physics is in the game when someone gets shot or when Niko is hanging off a vehicle. Very stunning, in my opinion. I really wonder why these screenshots weren’t released earlier in their digital format.
Nevertheless, these stunning screenshots definitely boasts of Grand Theft Auto IV’s capabilities, and it makes me want to get the game even more. In fact, we’ll soon see even more stunning footage of Grand Theft Auto IV when the third trailer is released on Thursday. It’s definitely the Game of the Year 2008. Stay Tuned for more Grand Theft Auto IV coverage!
Video Parody: Hey, Mr Thompson

You must have been living under a rock for the past 3 years if you don’t even know who Jack Thompson, the game-hating and much hated attorney, is. Of course, the folks at Uncyclopedia, Urban Dictionary and Kotaku have owned him. Even Rockstar Games have had enough of his bullsh*t. He’s nothing but a plain Ambulance Chaser.
Well, if you really don’t even know who Jack Thompson is (have you been watching the news, or have you been busy laughing your ass off at him?), there are many references to him here, here, here and here. Well, you have to watch the video to get what I mean.
Basically, this parody video, headed against Jack Thompson, was done by the folks at Sarcastic Gamer. The singing and video is well done, as well as the TV advertisement parody in the middle of the video. That one was simply hilarious! Sarcastic Gamer also has a load of other parody videos and songs on their website, you can go check it out if you have the time.
BioShock 2 in development?

Recently, there was news of Take 2 Interactive, parent company of Rockstar Games and 2K Games, taking a loan of a couple of hundreds of millions of dollars for game development throughout the whole Christmas season. Of course, we thought it was solely for the development of Grand Theft Auto IV, but it seems that there is more to that.
Apparently, it seems that 2K games have set up a studio in San Francisco, California to be named 2K Marin. They are currently assigned to work on BioShock 2 and are looking for a lead animator. Although a continuation of the series is assured, it also appears that the the developers of the original Bioshock, the 2K Boston and 2K Australia crew, won’t be on development duties for the game.
However, most of the Bioshock development team will be leaving 2K Boston and 2K Australia to form 2K Marin, and they are essentially forming a new development team from scratch, while 2K Australia is working on a rumored Project X, part of the X-Com games series that 2K games acquired rights of.
Take 2 Interactive cannot be reached when contacted by GameSpot, but there is certainately enough evidence on the internet to prove that 2K Games’ newly formed Marin studio is in fact working on BioShock 2. More information of the game should be released in due time.
